What does the word “intricate” mean to you?
Photography has taught me that everything is a fractal. The closer you look, the more you see. I spent a long time looking through my photo archives for suitable photos, there’s so many. There are flowers, temples, artworks and the intriguing patterns I see on the beach. Eventually I narrowed it down to two items. One is tree bark, but I hadn’t fully read the brief, so I was surprised and happy to see ‘deep fibrous bark’ as a suggestion. I must be on the right wavelength.
