Despite the rains, the garden thrives. The cactus took it badly, but the wood fungus is really ornamental.

I’ve been a bit stumped by the last few prompts… but this one works for me. Distance, we know, lends enchantment. This is especially so for me, my eyesight isnt that brilliant. I often use a telephone lens just to see things clearly. The simple act of taking a photo, from however close, adds another dimension of distance.

One of my greatest hits…. I took this for the avenue of trees…. later I realised that the people in the distance were the real story. The telephoto lens does the work.

I live on an island….liquid surrounds us. The new pontoon looks straight and sturdy…. you have to be there to realise it’s moving. The river never rests.
