The self-seeded tomatoes have gone crazy this year. It’s a bonanza for the local bird population (who help with the seeding). A new visitor this year, a rare golden King Parrot. Who would not be optimistic at a sight like that?

Such a cheerful and confident bird too… wasnt worried about me, what with all those yummy tomatoes on offer!

It’s a King Parrot….. usually with a green back, but this one has no gene for blue…. so it’s golden!
