This is very topical for me. Two weeks ago we had a ‘twenty year storm’ that happened at a time of high tides. The beach where I get some of my best photos got trashed. The lovely beach front houses lost over a metre of land. You can see where a rock wall has saved one garden. The rest look like a bulldozer has been through.

Yes, they’ll need to build walls. We wont see a storm like that for a few more years though… and nobody was hurt 🙂

Shows how valuable the rock walls are, pity the rocks have to be taken from somewhere else though.
