Perfect. The angle of the shot (the subject itself, of course), and your narrative of it…everything comes together in an instant–an instant pregnant with dramatic possibilities. What this sentry must have witnessed, at the crossroads of history and trouble! Thank you for sharing this.

Thanks, yes it’s probably from the 12th century. The town’s seen a lot of war over the ages.
