I heard Blondie’s ‘Atomic‘ the other day, still a great song, still sounds new to me. It was ‘new wave’, so was I. Lawks, it was released thirty five years ago!   What has happened since? Blondie didnt fade away and radiate, they’re playing Glastonbury this year.

My photo is from Brussels, the Atomium. That was built in 1958. When I took this, the building wasnt looking its best. The brave atomic future wasnt quite what we imagined. That was a decade ago, now Brussels is just another layer of memory, one of the many building blocks of my past.
