What was the last lie you told? Why did you tell it? Photographers, artists, poets: show us FAKE.
Musings for the Daily Prompt.
This is from a wonderful modern art museum in Kanazawa, Japan. From the outside, it’s a swimming pool. Inside? Well, you’re inside the pool. All art is a simulation, if you like, it’s a lie that’s told to highlight the truth. This one is just fun, the ultimate tromple l’oeil.
As for me, I never lie, well, only to myself.
Kanazawa is off the beaten tourist track, but well worth a visit for the museum and the Kenrokuen Garden.
